Today, the SMS Symphonic Band will proudly represent our campus at the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation. Our students have been working tirelessly all year in preparation for this important performance, and we are so proud of their dedication and growth. Today, students battled it out in a fast-paced Math Wars game—solving 28 math problems and checking answers with Mrs. Young. If they got it right, their name went up on the board. But here’s the twist… if another student solved the same problem correctly, they could erase the name and claim the spot! Fun, competitive, and full of brainpower—Math + Tech = STAAR Success!
