Shepherd ISD Spotlight

 
Dr. Jason Hewitt was hired as Superintendent of Shepherd ISD at Monday's school board meeting. Dr. Hewitt comes to Shepherd ISD from the Texas Education Agency where he served as the Associate Commissioner of Governance, which oversees the areas of Compliance and Inquires, Special Investigations, Lone Star Governance, Accreditation and Waivers, and Monitors and Conservators.

     1.  All students will read on grade level by the end of the school year.
     2.  All students will exhibit math proficiency by the end of the school year.
