At the October 21st meeting of the Shepherd ISD Board of Trustees, Rebecca Ramos and Susan Schlagel were recognized as the recipients of the Shepherd ISD Anchor Award. Each month Shepherd ISD will select up to three recipients who were nominated and fit the following criteria.

1.      Service to others without expecting anything in return
2.      High level of commitment to students, parents, and community
3.      Supporting the foundation of our schools’ values in the best interest of students everyday
4.      (P.R.I.D.E) Personally Responsible in Developing Excellence!

IMPORTANT - TEA is coming to hear from you!

Parents and community members, TEA will be here to talk about their plans to replace our board and install a Board of Managers, assign a Conservator, and name a Superintendent. They will also answer questions from those in attendance. The meeting will be Thursday (11/21) at 6:30 pm in the HS cafeteria. This is our chance to be heard! Share this post to as many people as you can. We need as many community members to attend as possible so the will of Shepherd can be heard.

SISD Says StopIT to Bullying

Shepherd ISD has a new Bullying Reporting system! It is called Stop!t. We began rolling the program out last week and it is available for students across the district. Please take a look at the attached documents to learn more.
