Purpose: 

The Counseling Team at Shepherd ISD will strive daily to provide essential counseling support to ensure students develop social-emotional learning skills, demonstrate academic achievement, and identify a career path that develops leadership traits and independent living skills which will impact our community and make a global difference in society.

The Counseling Team at Shepherd ISD shares the responsibility as proactive and responsive counselors to provide students the support needed for academic growth and social skills development through guidance and prevention education in order to prepare students for the workplace and career readiness.
