Shepherd ISD School Board Names Lone Finalist for it's Superintendent Position

At a special called meeting on Monday night, the Shepherd ISD Board of Trustees took action to name Jody Cronin as the Interim Superintendent and lone finalist for the districts vacant Superintendent position. By law, the district must now wait 21 days before it can vote to officially name Mr. Cronin as the Superintendent of Shepherd ISD. Click here to see the lone finalist posting.

Let The Construction Begin

Construction crews have begun the process of renovating and adding to the Shepherd Primary School. Plans call for a 10 classroom addition to be added to the west side of the existing Primary School building with many upgrades and renovations to take place inside the existing building. Please stay tuned to the Shepherd ISD website for future updates as this exciting process gets off the ground.

Shepherd ISD plans Website Upgrade

Shepherd ISD has begun the process of upgrading it's District and Campus level websites in an effort to make more information available to the public. The work on the new website is under way and should be online in the coming weeks. The main feature of the new site is that more staff members will have the ability to update the website, thus keeping more current information available to those who it. Other features include teacher webpages, calendars and easy to navigate menus. Please stay tuned for further updates.
